Sleeping Beauty

Forrest Nickerson Theatre, October 21 to 25, 2015
Artwork for Sleeping Beauty

King August and Queen Summer are holding a delightful gathering for their new baby, Princess Aurora.

Angry at not being invited, the evil fairy Maleficent places a curse on the beautiful child. When Aurora turns 16, she will cut her finger on a spindle and must sleep for 100 years, until a true love breaks the spell by kissing her awake.

With help from two good but somewhat-ditzy fairy storytellers and Prince Charming's cowardly assistant Hero, all ends happily in this humour-filled adaptation of the classic fairy tale!
