Leila Marston

Leila Marston performed regularly with Merlyn Productions and became one of the company's pioneering staff members alongside John Chase and Kevin Hamill for the first three seasons.

Behind-the-scenes, she served on the Company Staff as Production Assistant for 2009. In August 2010, she was promoted to Wardrobe Mistress: a position in which she acted as primary Costume Designer for the 2010 and 2011 Season productions, alongside various other work in stage management and properties.

Leila's initial step onto the stage was with Chase & Hamill in their 2008 Winnipeg Fringe Festival production of “HEY ABBOTT! - A Classic Comedy Tribute Show”, and the experience encouraged her to pursue theatre in earnest. She remained avidly involved with the Fringe Festival, appearing in three and stage managing two Fringe shows between 2009 and 2011.

Offstage, Leila enjoys writing, cynicism, and delivering lengthy spiels full of multisyllabic words.
