Headshot for Alicia Moore

Alicia Moore is making her first appearance with Merlyn Productions and looks forward to performing in the Winnipeg Fringe Festival, having spent many Summer afternoons attending the Fringe in the past.

Alicia has trained for two years as a Junior Acting student at the Winnipeg Theatre School (WTS), and is taking vocal training at the Winnipeg Vocal Training Company. She also took some film training with the PTE Theatre School, and is excited to be an extra in a feature being filmed in the Winnipeg area this Summer.

Previous opportunities to be on stage have been through school and church productions: most recently as the Siamese Cat twin in the Junior High musical “Good Night Sleep Tight”, and as the title role in “Mary's Song” for a Christmas production. Alicia is the only grade 7 student in her school's Musical Theatre Ensemble, and has participated in choral singing with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, school choirs, and the Winnipeg Girls Choir.

Other interests pursued through the years include violin lessons, art classes at the WAG, summer camp at MTYP, and a capella singing in talent shows. She also enjoys crafting, scrap-booking, baking, biking, and camping with family and friends.
