Sara Arenson is making her first appearance with Merlyn Productions.
She previously appeared with the Microsoft Theatre Troupe in their production of “Evita!”, in the Manitoba Association of Playwrights High School Playwriting Contest, and in the CKUW radio drama “At the Monarch’s Convenience”.
Sara earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Winnipeg, and has also taken acting classes at both Prairie Theatre Exchange and the Freehold Theatre Lab/Studio in Seattle, WA.
As a writer and director, Sara has participated in mentorships and readings through the Manitoba Association of Playwrights, and workshops with Film Training Manitoba and the Winnipeg Film Group. Her play “The Story of Deborah” was produced in FemFest 2004, and she helped write several episodes of “At the Monarch’s Convenience” in 2009. In 2010, Sara wrote and directed her first short film, “A Question of Taste”, for WFG’s 48-Hour Film Contest.
