Tony Frost

Tony Frost is the Artistic Director and chief instructor at Fantasy Theatre for Children and The Theatre School. He has held both positions since founding FTC in 1981, making it Winnipeg's oldest operating children's theatre company.

Mr Frost has acted and directed for both stage and television, having appeared with MTC, with Rainbow Stage, and on film. Over the past 40 years, he has directed over 300 productions for both children & adults, and is responsible for establishing theatre for young people in Manitoba. Many of his past students have gone on to careers in the performing arts, including Merlyn Productions' Artistic Director John Chase.

In May 2009, Tony Frost's production of "THE BOOR" was mounted on the Merlyn Productions stage alongside John Chase's production of "SACRED BLOOD", as a comedy & tragedy double-feature.
